This is the fourth and final part of my series on Preparing for Your Great Start in 2020! As we wrap up the year, it is good to review what has been covered this year. The topics have been varied as I’ve worked to bring you helpful information to aid your development as a leader. Today’s episode is a summary of what has been discussed this year. You will be reminded of ideas heard in earlier episodes. Please refer back to any episode which catches your interest for additional information as you move forward in 2020. I also revisit some wonderful books, covering a range of topics.

There is so much wonderful information out there that it will be good to reinforce these standout areas. Leaders have a great deal of impact on their businesses. I want to help you develop the necessary skills to make the most of your role. I look forward to continuing the podcast with you next year as we work on Leading the Factory Forward...together!

We’ll dive deeper into these concepts:

  • A review of our podcasts this year and where you can go for reference

  • Our manufacturing and leadership episode topics

  • The monthly themes we delved into—covering important topics such as creating the space to lead and emotional intelligence and leadership skills

  • The most popular podcasts of the year for manufacturing leaders and improving business

  • Next year’s potential podcast topics. We may reinforce and expand on some of the topics we’ve discussed to help leaders have more impact as they are developing their skills

  • Please let me know if you have some topic ideas you would like me to explore

  • Starting 2020 I’ll begin with a series discussing workforce and talent

As 2019 ends next week, I encourage you to look at the podcast section of my website for more information on past episodes. Listening to these episodes can help you. The shows are always available to you. Download the notes to this podcast for the resources that were mentioned. I wish you the best for the new year and look forward to talking with you again!
