In today’s economic climate, it’s important now more than ever to have an online presence, otherwise, people are not going to be able to see you. You can't do in-person meetings and networking like you used to do before.
Now that everyone's virtual, you need to make sure that everyone has a piece of virtual real estate where you're showing up, giving value, and you’re helping out your audience.
The easiest way to have an online presence is by creating a funnel, which generally has four parts:
Offer - It’s generally free and has a lot of value that the audience is interested enough to give you their contact information.
Nurture - You can use email marketing to warm up the audience and build connections with them. It helps you build that trust factor.
Capture - Using landing pages, you can capture audience information generally by getting their email address
Traffic - Once we have all these pieces together, we need the traffic to go into it in order for the audience to opt-in and to be nurtured. ex. Facebook ads
As a small business owner, you could be wearing too many different hats and this is where an Online Business Manager (OBM) comes in. They can take over the management of the day-to-day grind so you can focus on only the things you can do (such as building relationships, creating content, leading the business, etc).
